" Pride and Commitment"than performance is very important.When the Pride and Commitment are very strong and deeply rooted then preparation will be extra ordinary; there fore there cannot be anything other than success.That too success that un heard and unbelievable to see.
Army is an organisation where patriotism should be the main driving force for performance .Where do you draw the line -between the heart that feels and the mind that thinks. ? No one can tell this to others.It is highly personal.Each one has to have his own explanation for his conduct.
India is such a large country where multi disciplined ,with different language and faith people lived in harmony for centuries. 565 Princely states existed in India and the British who ruled this country for about 200 years allowed many of them to continue after paying them the Bribe ( ? ).
The systematic and well planed destruction of our culture and heritage by the British had slowly poisoned our mind and our education system was suitably changed to suit their requirement .
The freedom struggle in India did bring the people across the country together.But The British had thoroughly analysed India's Intellectual potential and her complete heritage than the Indians themselves.Even today If we have to know our past history,it is better documented by a foreign traveler than any Indian. Because our historians had high lighted only their own regions and suitably black listed others.
When we were struggling for freedom ,we never had any plan as to how to administer this great country.When the power was handed over ,the British had already drove the wedge in the social living of the people to keep them divided. The then British Prime minister Churchill said ;
It was the greatest failure of the then government to keep a well trained Army out of governing the country and degraded it as not required for a "Non aligned Nation ".The 1962 war was an eye opener for the politicians about the importance of Army and we restored our pride there on in 1965,71 and 99.
Once again our politicians ,who shamelessly amazed wealth un proportionately thought that the Para military forces can be sufficient for governing the safety,Honour,and Integrity of this country.
Wars cannot be fought as per politicians will.Over the ages the Army had been brought up on strong pillars of Tradition,patriotism,Pride of being in uniform,camaraderie and safety,honour and welfare of the men they command.Under these circumstances the death of a commanding officer ( may be accidental ) in a war zone does create a revolt to take revenge on the enemy.There casualties can not be under control.
The death of a commanding officer in an operation opens up great tradition of our Army, the cohesiveness of the unit and the camaraderie.Betrayal in our neighboring country's mind set had been seen many times.They call for peace talk and at one stage open up arms killing some of their own.
Even though many rules and regulations are taught about warfare many countries were arrogant and highly ill treat the POWs.India was handling 93,000 Pak POWs after 1971 war.They had lived better than their own country as POW in India.
Well ! Pride and Commitment to a cause will certainly dictate your conduct.
Dear country men,Do understand how the Army functions.Years of hard training under inhospitable weather and terrain molds the personality of soldiering. Many many personal problems are buried deep in their mind and Protects the safety, honour and integrity of this country.
Amazing wealth,up bringing of their kith and kin are the only aim in Indian Politics.Look at the long list of scams in Free India.Is there any politician who had sacrificed for the safety and welfare of this country.?
Even after 73 years of freedom we demand reservations.Nelson Mandela had spent 27 years in prison.But after release what did he give to South Africa.?
